Surrender Into Self-Care

“There are days I drop words of comfort on myself like falling leaves and remember that it is enough to be taken care of by my self.” - Brian Andreas

Hello. How are you?

No, really.

How do you find yourself?

Perhaps you'll have been sitting at a desk all day and your neck and shoulders are feeling it? Or you've been hauling around young children and your back is sore? Maybe you are feeling a little overwhelmed, lacking energy or stressed and are in need of some spa like rest? Or perhaps you've been working out too hard at the gym or running and need some deep, releasing stretches?

We we have just the ticket!

This week we are beginning our beautiful practice in Supta Baddha Konasana (reclined bound angle pose) an incredibly releasing and relaxing pose.

Reclined, resting poses in Yoga seriously renew your energy as they create openness in your body and calm the nervous system.

Yoga in general teaches us that getting to grips with the practice of relaxation is one of the most important things that you can do for your health and for your mind.

Supta Baddha Konasana lets you stretch out the inner thighs whilst opening the hips and enhancing circulation to the vital organs of elimination and reproduction in the lower belly. It also creates a mild chest opening and calms the nervous system. And it feels wonderful! What’s not to love about this pose?

One for your home practice definitely!

Join us this week in one of our regular classes listed below to experience the incredible response of your body and mind when you surrender into self-care.

If you haven’t already booked into one of our Yoga Classes you can do so here. Alternatively, email to let me know that you would like to join and you can bring cash for the term to the class. If you need more convincing, then take a look at the reviews!

I look forward to meeting you on the mat, at a yoga class soon for some deep, soothing, magical yoga :-)
